Job description
You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. Responsibilities
- Own the development and delivery of RESTful services and microservices.
- Write clean, testable code following TDD principles and customer quality standards.
- Manage deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure within AWS environments.
- Collaborate with international clients in an Agile Scrum environment to meet project deadlines.
- Take full ownership of development work from design to implementation. Required Skills
- 7+ years of overall software development experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of databases including DynamoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
- Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI 3 and Postman for API design.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments. Preferred Skills
- Experience migrating code from Java to Node.js.
- Experience developing secure, decoupled, and resilient microservices.
- Knowledge of API Gateway, Sequelize, and Datadog.
