Role & responsibilities Job Description: Lead UI Developer (React.js / Next.js) Core Skills: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, UI Engineering, D2C Front-End, Digital Marketing About the Role Hands-on Lead UI Developer with strong experience in building modern, scalable front-end applicationsspecifically for direct-to-consumer (D2C) digital marketing and sales-funnel platforms. You will lead UI engineers, drive engineering standards, and deliver experiences optimized for conversion, tracking, and user insights. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a UI development team; own code quality, reviews, and best practices.
• Build high-performance React.js / Next.js applications (SSR/SSG, routing, performance).
• Implement reusable UI components and responsive layouts aligned with design specifications.
• Collaborate with backend, design, QA, marketing, and product teams.
• Ensure accessibility, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and strong CI/CD discipline.
• Work on solutioning for new features / updates Critical Requirements
• Direct-to-Consumer & Sales Funnel Experience
• Hands-on experience building D2C front-ends with clear understanding of conversion journeys.
• Practical knowledge of sales funnels, lead generation flows, returning user journeys, and optimizing user drop-offs.
• Digital Marketing Tracking & Analytics
• Strong understanding of UTM tracking, attribution models, pixel tracking (Meta/Google/etc.).
• Experience integrating Hotjar, FullStory, or similar session replay/user behavior tools.
• Ability to implement event logging, analytics hooks, data layers, and user activity tracking.
• Experience enabling A/B testing frameworks, experiments, feature flags, and test-ready UI patterns. CMS & Data Concepts
• Knowledge of Headless CMS (Prismic, WebFlow, Contentful, Strapi): why it’s used, how it supports content-driven front-ends, and how to integrate it with Next.js.
• Basic familiarity with MongoDB / NoSQL concepts and working with document-based APIs (not deep DB expertise, but architectural understanding). UI Engineering Foundations
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and component-driven architectures.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs and state management (Redux/React Query).
• Excellent debugging, RCA, problem-solving, and performance optimization abilities. Good to Have
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS or similar).
• Exposure to micro-frontends or modernization projects.
• Background in insurance domains (life, pet, P&C). Preferred candidate profile
