Data Analyst || Banking Domain (Python, pyspark & SQL)

Data Analyst Location: Bangalore | Pune | Hyderabad | Mumbai Experience: 5 - 12 yrs.(Consultant / Sr.Consultant / Manager) Role Overview The Data Analyst will drive high-impact decision-making by transforming complex financial and customer data into actionable insights. The role focuses on uncovering patterns across risk, fraud, profitability, and customer behavior to support lending, compliance, and growth strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and transform large datasets using PySpark and SQL to solve complex business problems
• Perform data validation and identify anomalies to ensure data accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
• Own end-to-end data development and deployment lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to data governance, quality, privacy, and control standards Technical Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Python programming
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in PySpark (data transformation & processing)
• 3–5 years of experience in SQL (advanced querying & optimization)
• Experience with Git or similar version control tools
• Strong understanding of:
• Data governance
• Data quality frameworks
• Data privacy & control practices Preferred Skills
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
• Exposure to data pipeline tools (e.g., Prophecy)
• Knowledge of data modeling and scalable data architecture design
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
