DevOps & Cloud Engineer (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Role Overview You are responsible for building, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The job is not just “using cloud services” but ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient. You will work closely with developers, so expect to deal with broken builds, bad code practices, and production issues regularly. Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and reliability using logging and alerting tools
• Automate repetitive operational tasks to reduce manual intervention
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Ensure security best practices, including IAM, network policies, and secret management
• Troubleshoot production issues, sometimes under pressure and outside working hours
• Optimize cloud costs and resource usage, not just spin up services blindly Required Skills Cloud Platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of compute, storage, networking, and IAM services DevOps Tools
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
• Infrastructure as Code, Terraform preferred
• Containerization, Docker
• Orchestration, Kubernetes Programming / Scripting
• At least one scripting language, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Ability to debug automation scripts, not just copy paste them Monitoring & Logging
• Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or cloud-native monitoring Version Control
