Job description
Our client is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Dedicated Analyst to support global investment managers through an outsourced research model. The role involves deep fundamental research, financial modelling, industry analysis, and investment thesis development across global markets. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, advanced Excel modelling skills, and the ability to independently interpret complex financial information. CFA candidates or CFA Charter holders will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Build, maintain, and enhance detailed three-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in Excel
- Develop quarterly earnings models, revenue bridges, margin analysis, and scenario-based forecasts
- Perform detailed financial analysis and deliver actionable insights Equity Research & Investment Thesis Support
- Support senior analysts and portfolio managers in investment idea generation and thesis building
- Conduct fundamental research including business/industry analysis, competitive positioning, TAM analysis, and unit economics
- Track earnings calls, management commentary, and industry updates
- Summarize and present key insights in a client-ready format Data & Research Support
- Work on financial datasets and consensus analytics
- Identify estimate revisions, market inflection points, and key trends
- Support ad-hoc analytical tasks and research requests Stakeholder & Client Coordination
- Deliver timely model updates, earnings previews/reviews, and research reports
- Maintain accuracy and quality of deliverables under tight timelines
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Candidate Requirements Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering OR Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business
- CFA candidates / CFA Charter holders preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or similar analytical roles
- Exceptional fresh graduates may also be considered Skills
- Strong Excel and financial modelling expertise
- Good understanding of accounting and financial statements
- Knowledge of valuation methodologies: DCF, Comparable Companies, SOTP
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in financial markets and investing
