Title: HR Manager Location: Bhiwandi Role Type: Full-time Reporting to: Director HR Role Purpose The HR Manager will partner closely with plant leadership to drive effective people practices across manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for endtoend HR support for the plant, focusing on employee relations (nonunion), statutory compliance, workforce planning, talent management, and HR operations to support productivity and business continuity. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Business Partnership

  • Act as the primary HR partner to the Plant Head and R&D Head .
  • Translate business and plant objectives into practical HR solutions.
  • Support line managers & functional managers on performance management, workforce planning, capability building, and employee matters.
  • Provide guidance on organizational changes, manpower planning, and shift structures. 2. Employee Relations (NonUnionised Workforce)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and timely resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Drive positive employee engagement on the shop floor through structured employee connect initiatives, communication sessions, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Promote a culture of discipline, respect, and accountability across all levels. 3. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Management
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable labour laws including (but not limited to):
  • Factories Act
  • Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
  • PF, ESI, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit, POSH
  • Manage statutory audits, inspections, and documentation in coordination with external consultants.
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns, and contractor compliance records. 4. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
  • Collaborate with TA team for plant-based roles including operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and staff.
  • Manage contract labour engagement through approved vendors (administration and compliance)
  • Support campus hiring, apprenticeships, and local hiring programs as applicable. 5. Performance Management & Capability Development
  • Drive annual performance management cycles for plant employees.
  • Identify training needs in collaboration with plant leadership.
  • Support capability building for supervisors, firstline managers, and technical staff. 6. HR Operations & Processes
  • Oversee core HR operations for the site: onboarding, attendance, shifts, leave, payroll inputs, confirmations, and separations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and discipline in HR systems.
  • Track and analyse HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, workforce cost, and engagement scores.
  • Ensure payroll inputs are provided to vendor & 100% accuracy. 7. Culture & Engagement
  • Drive engagement initiatives aligned with organizational values.
  • Ensure smooth employee communication during change initiatives.
  • Support engagement surveys and drive site-level action plans. Education & Experience
  • MBA / MSW / MLA/ PGDM in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
  • 8-12 years of HR experience, with at least 4 to 6 years in a manufacturing / plant environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience managing nonunionised shopfloor employees.
  • Solid knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance is mandatory. Key Skills & Competencies
