About the role As a Cloud Engineer III, you will be part of the consulting and delivery practice, utilizing cutting-edge automation tools and provisioning in public cloud providers'preferably Azure or AWS. You will be responsible for designing and deploying well-architected cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and a proven track record of delivering cloud solutions with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation on various projects. Along the way, you will:? Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources across AWS and Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
- Support the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions in collaboration with senior engineers and architects.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
- Configure monitoring and observability solutions using tools such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Support cloud migration initiatives using tools such as Azure Migrate and assist with disaster recovery and BCDR implementations.
- Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cost optimization across cloud environments.
- Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and encryption.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments to support successful project delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS or Azure), with basic exposure to the other being a plus.
- Experience with core cloud infrastructure services including:
- Azure: Azure Virtual Machines, VNet, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure AD, Load Balancers, DNS, and Application Gateway.
- AWS: EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, Elastic Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, or Azure Repos.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows environments, including system troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes (AKS or EKS).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Azure Monitor, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Exposure to cloud migration tools (Azure Migrate or similar) and understanding of BCDR concepts.
- Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud-based production environments.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus. Professional Attributes
