Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end plant HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit formalities
- Maintain optimal manpower levels across production, maintenance, and support functions
- Handle worker and staff grievances and ensure smooth Industrial Relations (IR)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws Factories Act, PF, ESIC, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, and Contract Labour Act
- Manage all plant-level registrations, licenses, and authorizations such as Factory License, Fire NOC, Pollution NOC, and Labour Department registrations
- Liaise with government departments, labour offices, and inspectors as required and maintain statutory registers and returns
- Champion and drive 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives on the shop floor
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects with production and engineering teams and track improvement metrics
- Identify training needs and organize skill development, induction, and safety training programs for workers and staff
- Manage contract labour, third-party vendors, and general administration including security, housekeeping, and canteen
