Role Overview We’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive our growth. This role is essential to building and scaling Shinkly products by generating new business pipeline, qualifying inbound leads, proactively reaching out to high-value prospects and closing the deal. You’ll be on the front lines of our customer acquisition efforts, working closely with the Founder to identify opportunities, spark meaningful conversations, and fuel Shinkly growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly driven, curious, and eager to make an impact at an early-stage startup. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, identify, and engage new prospects through outbound outreach, networking, and creative prospecting strategies
- Own the sales process end-to-end — from initial outreach to deal closure.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and determine fit with Shinkly products.
- Become fluent in Shinkly product and value proposition to effectively engage technical and business stakeholders
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership to refine messaging, outreach strategies, and qualification criteria
- Maintain an organized pipeline in the CRM and consistently achieve weekly and monthly activity goals
- Share learnings and insights from prospect conversations with internal teams to help refine our GTM motion What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role (SaaS/PLG/tech preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A curious and empathetic approach to understanding customer challenges and aligning them with Shinkly’s value
- A self-starter mentality: comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and motivated to exceed goals
- Grit, resilience, and persistence when it comes to outbound prospecting and building relationships

- Professional development opportunities Compensation Structure Our compensation model is designed for candidates who are confident in their ability to generate pipeline and close deals. To reward performance with strong earning potential and a clear pathway to a fixed base salary. As part of this process, selected candidates are required to submit a refundable onboarding and training commitment deposit of ₹10,000 INR before starting. The commitment deposit is refunded on a milestone-based prorated basis during the ramp-up phase Phase 1: Ramp-Up (Commission-Driven)
- 20% of subscription revenue every month (starting from the second month)
- ₹5000 bonus on your first deal worth more than $50
- ₹1000 guarantee for every deal you close
- No cap on earnings. This phase gives you a high upside from day one and helps us identify strong performers quickly. Phase 2: Base Salary + Commission
- Unlock a base salary of ₹40,000/month after generating a minimum of $600 MRR
- Continued 5–10% upsell commissions
