Backend Developer (Mid) — Node.js / Express

Experience: 3+ years Role summary

• Build the API-first microservices and integrate them with third-party and internal systems, working to the patterns set by the backend lead.
• Key responsibilities
• Design and build secure, versioned REST APIs (OpenAPI 3.x) on Node.js + Express following microservice boundaries.
• Implement third-party / system integrations with correlation IDs, retries/backoff, circuit breakers, and
• idempotency keys.
• Implement OAuth2/OIDC/JWT auth, RBAC, OTP, session management, and audit logging.
• Model and query PostgreSQL; use Redis for sessions, tokens, and hot-data caching.
• Apply secure-by-default practices (OWASP): input validation, parameterized queries, output encoding, secrets handling.
• Write automated tests, contribute to CI/CD security gates, and document APIs and runbooks. Required
• Strong Node.js + Express, REST API design, and async patterns.
• Solid PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, transactions) and Redis.
• Hands-on third-party / REST integration with resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, idempotency).
• Auth/security fundamentals (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and secure-coding awareness.
• Comfortable with Docker and CI/CD; testing discipline. Nice to have
• Microservices at scale, message queues / event-driven patterns, OpenTelemetry.
• Kubernetes familiarity. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
