Role Overview: As a GPM / Director of Product Management at PW, you will have end-to-end ownership of a suite of products, starting from ideation to product development to adoption. You will play a critical role in shaping the PMF, product strategy, and roadmap. Additionally, you will lead a team of talented product managers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products. Key Responsibilities: - Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for a specific product POD (suite of products) at PW. - Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product strategy and roadmap on a quarterly basis that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. - Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture while empowering team members to achieve their full potential. - Structural Thinking and Execution: Break down problem statements, prioritize tasks, present data and information in a structured manner, and execute tasks systematically. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, business teams, and other departments to ensure smooth product development cycles, timely launches, and effective go-to-market strategies. - Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, including concept and design, development, testing, and launch. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. - Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of products. Regularly assess and analyze product performance, gathering feedback to inform iterative improvements. - Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation within the product management team, encouraging creative thinking and exploring new opportunities to differentiate products in the market. - Stakeholder Communication: Present product updates, roadmap progress, and strategic plans to executive leadership, investors, and other stakeholders as required. Qualifications Required: - Total work experience of 8 years with at least 5 years of core product management experience in a product company. - Experience in product management with a B2C company or fast-growing startups that have seen scale in terms of DAU/MAU will be preferred. - Strong analytics capability to make data-driven decisions while delivering quality products in a timely manner. - Proficiency in user research, identifying PMF, and conducting A/B experimentation. - Previous experience leading a team of product managers, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities, and stakeholder management capabilities. - Track record of driving successful product launches and managing product life cycles. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
