We are looking for an Implementation Lead who brings strong hands-on platform expertise, automation-first thinking, and the discipline to make every deployment cleaner, faster, and more reliable than the last. Role Overview This is a hands-on technical implementation and execution role within Lera’s implementation pod structure. The Implementation Lead will report to the Project Manager and own the technical delivery layer across platform configuration, agentic deployment workflow design, environment validation, go-live readiness, and client implementation success. This role is not a pure development role and not a project management role. The core accountability is to ensure technical precision within the scope, timelines, and delivery framework defined by the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for encoding deployment knowledge into reusable, automated, and traceable processes, ensuring every client environment is stable, well-documented, production-ready, and successfully transitioned before the hypercare phase ends. What You Bring

  • 5–8 years of experience in technical implementation, deployment engineering, platform delivery, or enterprise solution implementation roles.
  • Hands-on experience implementing data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, integration layers, or enterprise technology solutions in production environments.
  • Experience working with agentic AI tooling, agent-driven workflows, automation-led deployments, or intelligent workflow orchestration.
  • Proven ability to reduce manual deployment effort through automation, standardisation, documentation, and reusable implementation playbooks.
  • Strong understanding of deployment lifecycle, environment readiness, release coordination, validation, go-live support, and hypercare handover.
  • Ability to write clear deployment playbooks and technical documentation that can be executed by trained team members without dependency on individual knowledge.
  • Exposure to banking, fintech, financial services, or regulated client environments will be a strong advantage.
  • Comfort operating within a PM-governed delivery structure, where scope and timelines are defined by the Project Manager and technical execution is owned independently.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to distinguish between product defects, configuration gaps, data issues, and environment-related challenges.
  • Strong communication discipline with the ability to flag blockers, risks, and dependencies early and clearly. Technical Skills Platform, Data & Deployment
  • Strong proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline configuration across source extraction, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and BI consumption layers.
  • Strong SQL skills at a production-support level, with the ability to diagnose data quality issues, trace reconciliation failures, and validate pipeline outputs.
  • Working knowledge of Java or Python at deployment and configuration level, with the ability to read code, modify configuration files, and debug pipeline behaviour.
  • Hands-on familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment, environment management, and service orchestration.
  • Experience working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP at deployment and operations level.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
  • Understanding of environment setup, access controls, audit trails, release notes, deployment validation, and change traceability. AI & Agentic Tooling
  • Hands-on exposure to agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or MCP-based tooling.
  • Understanding of LLM integration patterns including API-based model access, tool usage, prompt engineering, and multi-step workflow design.
  • Ability to design and implement human-in-the-loop checkpoints within agentic deployment workflows.
  • Awareness of production considerations for agentic systems, including latency, failure modes, observability, monitoring, and graceful degradation.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with RAG pipeline design and vector store integration will be an added advantage. Desired Skills
  • Experience in banking, fintech, core banking, financial services, data platforms, analytics platforms, or enterprise implementation environments.
  • Strong automation mindset with a preference for scripting, repeatability, and standardisation over manual execution.
  • Ability to work in structured delivery environments involving Project Managers, Product Teams, Engineering Teams, QA, Support, and client stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of production support processes, hypercare governance, issue triaging, and release stabilisation.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent delivery, workflow, and documentation tools.
  • Exposure to security and compliance concepts in financial services deployments, including access controls, audit trails, data segregation, and environment governance.
  • Ability to operate with ownership, urgency, discipline, and clarity in client-facing delivery situations. Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant cloud or data certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, Google Cloud Professional, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management certification will be useful given the production support and hypercare dimension of the role.
  • Any certification or practical exposure in DevOps, data engineering, cloud deployment, or AI/LLM tooling will be an added advantage. Your Role As an Implementation Lead, you will
  • Owning end-to-end technical implementation of the 9X Data Platform and FinSight 360 across client environments.
  • Designing, configuring, and operating agentic deployment workflows that reduce manual effort, human error, and repeated implementation dependency.
  • Encoding repetitive configuration steps into automated, agent-driven deployment pipelines.
  • Configuring ETL pipelines, data transformations, integration layers, and deployment components as per client requirements.
  • Owning environment setup and validation by ensuring every client environment is correctly provisioned, tested, documented, and go-live ready.
  • Driving reduction in deployment cycle time by measuring, reviewing, and improving the steps between release and production.
  • Creating reusable deployment playbooks, checklists, and SOPs that enable repeatable and scalable implementation.
  • Acting as the L3 escalation anchor for complex technical issues during implementation, go-live, and hypercare phases.
  • Distinguishing between product defects and configuration gaps, and taking complete ownership of configuration-related issues.
  • Monitoring agent behaviour in production and intervening when automated pipelines deviate from expected outcomes.
  • Feeding learnings from agentic deployment behaviour back into workflow improvement and deployment optimisation.
  • Maintaining configuration standards, change traceability, and environment-specific documentation.
  • Supporting client go-live and hypercare phases with strong technical ownership and structured issue resolution.
  • Executing clean handover to the production support function with complete documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Participating in sprint reviews, deployment reviews, and stability reviews as the technical voice on implementation readiness.
  • Proactively flagging risks, blockers, dependencies, and technical concerns to the Project Manager before they impact timelines.
