PROJECT MANAGER ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end project delivery within our business. The Project Manager is the primary interface between the client and our internal execution team responsible for overseeing the work of Project Engineers, managing client negotiations, and ensuring all aspects of project delivery (cost, schedule, logistics, and commercial terms) are executed with precision and professionalism. Project Engineering Oversight

  • Oversee, guide, and track the day-to-day work of Project Engineers across assigned projects.
  • Review and approve technical outputs from the PE team: designs, proposals, FAT procedures, BOMs, and cost reports.
  • Identify bottlenecks in engineering delivery and take corrective action to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure technical quality and completeness of all deliverables before submission to clients. B. Client Negotiations & Commercial Management
  • Lead commercial negotiations with clients on project scope, timelines, cost variations, and contract terms.
  • Manage change orders: evaluate the cost and schedule impact of scope changes and negotiate equitable settlements.
  • Prepare and present cost & margin reports; ensure project profitability targets are maintained.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients — build strong relationships and manage expectations proactively.
  • Represent the company in client review meetings, milestone discussions, and dispute resolutions. C. Schedule & Delivery Management
  • Own and maintain the master project schedule; track milestones, flag risks, and drive recovery plans when needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, commissioning, quality) to ensure aligned execution.
  • Align and adjust project execution schedules in response to evolving client requirements or site conditions.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews with internal stakeholders and provide transparent reporting. D. Logistics, Packaging & Shipping Coordination
  • Manage all end-to-end logistics for project deliveries: packaging standards, freight coordination, shipping timelines, and delivery confirmation.
  • Coordinate export/import documentation, customs clearance requirements, and compliance with applicable trade regulations.
  • Oversee visa and travel arrangements for project personnel deploying to client sites (domestic and international).
  • Ensure all project-related paperwork — contracts, delivery notes, inspection certificates, test reports — is complete and filed accurately. E. Risk, Quality & Compliance
  • Proactively identify project risks (technical, commercial, and logistical) and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, client specifications, and company policies.
  • Drive lessons-learned exercises post-project completion to improve future delivery performance. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 8–12 years of experience in project management within electrical/industrial automation or CBM domain.
  • PMP / PMI Certification preferred; candidates without certification but with strong track record will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in client negotiations and commercial project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of project logistics, international shipping, documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
