Senior Backend Developer (Node.js | AI-Native Developer)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who thrives on building scalable systems and is excited about leveraging AI-powered development tools like Claude Code and Cursor to ship faster and smarter. If you’re someone who:

• Designs robust backend architectures
• Writes clean, production-grade Node.js code
• Optimizes MongoDB for performance at scale
• Experienced in using tools like Claude code, Codex. we’d love to talk. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼
• Architect and build scalable backend services using Node.js
• Design and optimize MongoDB schemas for performance & reliability
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
• Work closely with frontend (React) and product teams in a MERN stack setup
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Write efficient, testable, and reusable code
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and backend observability
• Leverage tools like Claude Code and Cursor to enhance development velocity
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁-𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
• 4–5 years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Node.js and asynchronous programming
• Deep understanding of MongoDB performance tuning
• Experience building scalable APIs used in production
• Knowledge of system design and distributed systems basics
• Familiarity with authentication (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code / Cursor
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲
• Experience with high-growth SaaS products
• Background in performance optimization at scale
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Understanding of caching (Redis), queues, and event-driven architecture
• Exposure to AI/NLP-based systems
