Job description

As an experienced UI/UX designer at BelleVie, you will play a crucial role in leading end-to-end design initiatives across both web and mobile platforms. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing BelleVie's design vision, strategy, and standards. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a strong design culture within the organization. Collaboration with product, engineering, and leadership teams will be essential to ensure alignment on user experience goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end UI/UX design projects for web and mobile platforms - Define and execute BelleVie's design vision, strategy, and standards - Mentor and guide junior designers to foster a strong design culture - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on user experience goals - Build, maintain, and scale design systems and component libraries - Create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces - Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups - Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback for design improvements - Present and defend design decisions based on design roadmap and principles - Maintain and evolve design systems and style guides - Stay updated with industry standards and changes Qualifications Required: - Proven 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design with leadership experience - Expertise in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar - Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking and high-quality execution - Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability - Strong communication, presentation, and decision-making skills - Strong problem-solving skills Your design decisions should be rooted in the overall design roadmap and your design thinking, incorporating fundamental principles such as color theory and visual weight. By continually updating yourself and your design team with the latest industry standards, you will contribute to maintaining a high-quality design culture at BelleVie.
