Solar Project Manager

As a Solar Project Manager at MPower India Private Limited, your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end execution of solar power projects in Navi Mumbai. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing site surveys, reviewing technical drawings, supervising installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. - Monitoring project progress, managing risks, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery within scope and cost targets. - Preparing project documentation and reports, supporting inspections and audits, and contributing to process improvements and best practices in solar project execution. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Strong project execution capabilities, including Project Management and Expediting skills to drive timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination. - Experience working as an Expeditor or in expediting-related functions for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation. - Proficiency in Inspection activities for solar and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety norms, and quality standards. - Knowledge of Logistics Management for planning, tracking, and coordinating movement of equipment and materials to project sites. - Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering field (or equivalent practical experience). - Hands-on experience managing rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects, including site execution and contractor coordination. - Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements for solar installations in India. - Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. - Proficiency in MS Office and project tracking tools; basic understanding of CAD or layout review is an advantage.
