As a Financial Analyst at the Manufacturing MNC in Bangalore, your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Financial Accounting & Reporting: You will be responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. This includes preparing financial statements, GL reconciliations, provisions, and journal entries in compliance with Ind AS/IGAAP. Your accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail will be crucial for maintaining the hygiene of financial reporting and supporting various audits. - Internal Controls & Compliance: Your tasks will include executing internal and process audits, conducting control testing and risk assessments, and identifying control gaps and compliance risks. You will track audit observations, ensure timely remediation, and uphold internal financial controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks. - Budgeting & Forecasting: Your role will involve supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and variance analysis. You will monitor key business and plant KPIs, margins, and cost drivers, as well as assist in preparing monthly MIS, dashboards, and management review packs to facilitate decision-making. - Cost Accounting & Inventory: You will support activities related to product costing, overhead absorption, cost variance analysis, and monitoring inventory valuation, cycle counts, and working capital elements. - Taxation & Regulatory: Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements, coordinating for GST, TDS, and statutory filings, preparing audit data, and resolving tax-related matters in line with regulatory standards. - ERP & Process Automation: You will assist in supporting SAP/ERP finance processes, system-based controls, process documentation, standardization, and automation of recurring finance reports. Collaboration with Finance, Audit, Business, and IT teams will be essential to drive process improvements, enhance controls, and improve reporting efficiency. Qualifications required for this role: - CA or MBA (Finance) qualification with 3-6 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setup. - Solid foundation in controllership with exposure to audit/FP&A. - Experience in Internal Audit, Controls, or Risk within a manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding of accounting standards, controls, and governance. - Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across business, plant, and corporate functions. - High ownership mindset and willingness to take on broader finance responsibilities. Please note that experience in Financial Control, Financial Planning Analysis, or Auditing within the Manufacturing Industry is a critical criterion for this role.
