Job description

Position Summary: Hiranandani Foundation Schools is seeking a dynamic and process-oriented HR Manager to support and strengthen the people practices across their schools in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role will function as a key HR advisor and implementor, closely working with the Trust Office, School Principals and other school stakeholders on HR policies and processes, talent management and organisational effectiveness. The ideal candidate would possess strong all-round HR functional experience with K-12 schools, educational institutions, or academic environments, along with a balanced approach towards strategy, operational excellence, stakeholder management and compliance. Reports To: Trust Office’s Representative Key Responsibilities: HR Advisory

  • Act as an HR advisor to the Trust Office and School Principals on people-related issues and organisational priorities.
  • Drive HR policies and processes aligned with institutional goals, culture, and long-term growth plans.
  • Support leadership in workforce planning, organisation structuring, talent strategy, new hire induction, performance management, compensation and benefits management and employee engagement initiatives. HR Operations & Data Management
  • Oversee and streamline HR operations, systems, policies and processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR dashboards and MIS reports
  • Analyse HR data to support decision-making, policy recommendations, and strategic planning. Compliance & Regulatory
  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements, labour laws, educational regulations, and internal governance standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain audit readiness and policy compliance. Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate effectively with the Trust Office, Principals, and school staff on key school priorities.
  • Facilitate discussions, presentations, and HR reviews with leadership stakeholders. Desired Candidate Profile:
  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification from a reputed institute.
  • 8 – 10 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Prior experience in K-12 schools, educational institutions, universities, or academic organisations is required Job Location: Powai / Thane (travel between campuses required) Role Type: Individual Contributor
