About Role This role requires a blend of advanced technical skills and leadership qualities. The ideal candidate should be a proficient coder who also drives overall quality and performance of the codebase, mentors junior developers. Key Responsibilities ? Lead Development: Take a lead role in the design, development, and implementation of complex web applications using React.js and TypeScript. ? Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure best practices are followed across the team. ? Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to translate designs and business requirements into high-quality code. ? Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, helping them grow their skills and adhere to coding standards. ? Performance Optimization: Optimize application components for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers. ? Reusable Components: Build and maintain reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. ? Troubleshooting: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and debug complex technical issues. ? Stay Updated: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in the React and TypeScript ecosystems. Required Skills and Qualifications ? Extensive Experience: Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a significant portion of that time dedicated to React.js. ? Technical Proficiency: o React & TypeScript: Deep expertise in React.js, including its core principles, hooks, and component lifecycle. Strong proficiency in TypeScript is crucial for building typesafe and scalable applications. o JavaScript: Mastery of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. o State Management: Proven experience with state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or the Context API. o APIs: Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL. o Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library. o Build Tools: Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM. o Version Control: Strong command of version control systems, particularly Git. ? Soft Skills: o Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. o Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects, make architectural decisions, and provide constructive feedback.
