Job description

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business System Analyst role based in Kottayam. The Business System Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather and document requirements, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications. This role will involve analyzing existing systems and workflows, identifying gaps or inefficiencies, and recommending improvements or new solutions aligned with business goals. The Business System Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and technology, to support system design, configuration, testing, and implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing process documentation, supporting user acceptance testing, assisting with training materials, and providing ongoing support and root-cause analysis for system issues. Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Business Systems Analysis and Systems Analysis, with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Business Analysis and Business Requirements gathering, including documenting use cases, user stories, and process flows.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess impacts, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement or enhance business applications, ERP, or similar systems.
  • Ability to create clear documentation, such as requirements specifications, process maps, and user guides.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with basic project management practices and software development life cycle (SDLC) or agile methodologies is an advantage.
  • Experience using tools such as spreadsheets, flowcharting or diagramming software, and requirement-tracking or ticketing systems is beneficial.
