UX / UI Designer- Healthcare Applications
Job description
As a UX Designer, your role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, conducting user research, interviews, and workflow analysis in healthcare environments, and identifying pain points in existing systems. You will need to translate requirements into user personas, journey maps, and use cases. Your responsibilities include creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) defining user flows, process workflows, data requirements, and system interactions. Additionally, you will design intuitive user flows, navigation systems, wireframes, and low & high-fidelity prototypes. You will define information architecture for complex healthcare systems and ensure accessibility and usability standards according to WCAG guidelines. In terms of UI Design, you will be creating visually appealing and functional UI screens for healthcare applications such as Doctor portals, Appointment booking systems, Electronic medical records (EMR), OPD, Pharmacy, etc. You will also develop design systems, style guides, and reusable components while ensuring consistency across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. Collaboration is a key aspect of your role, as you will work closely with developers for design implementation and QA support. You will provide design specifications, assets, and annotations, and support agile processes like Scrum, sprint planning, and design reviews. Testing and continuous improvement are essential parts of your responsibilities, which include conducting usability testing, A/B testing, gathering feedback from end users, and iterating designs based on data and insights. Preferred Candidate Profile: Technical Skills: - Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools - Solid knowledge of Wireframing, Prototyping, Design systems - Experience with BRD and functional documentation - Understanding of frontend basics (HTML, responsive design) Soft Skills: - Excellent stakeholder communication - Strong problem-solving skills - Ability to simplify complex workflows - Attention to detail and empathy-driven design mindset This job requires a candidate who can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, conduct thorough research, design user-centric solutions, and continuously improve based on feedback and data insights.
