Role Description This is a full-time remote Back End Developer role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications and APIs. The Back End Developer will build and optimize application logic, database schemas, and integration layers that power PPStack’s learning platforms and digital solutions. Responsibilities include implementing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting and debugging production issues, and collaborating closely with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features. The role also involves integrating third-party services, monitoring system performance, improving reliability, and contributing to code reviews, documentation, and best practices. The Back End Developer will work in an agile environment, participating in planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of development processes. Qualifications

• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development and general Software Development, with experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications or services.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and core Programming concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Front-End Development to effectively collaborate on API contracts, integration, and troubleshooting across the stack.
• Experience with server-side frameworks, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, CI/CD) and basic understanding of application security and performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control systems (e.g., Git) in a collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience in EdTech or SaaS environments is a plus.
