Business Analyst in US Healthcare Domain

In this role as a Custom Software Engineer Project, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

• *Key Responsibilities:** - Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from healthcare stakeholders (payers, providers, regulatory teams). - Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models. - Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate healthcare data from multiple sources (claims, EMR/EHR, enrollment, provider data). - Utilize Python for advanced data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling. - Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights in healthcare datasets. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, operations, IT) to design reporting solutions and dashboards. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data governance standards. - Document processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing. - Support testing, validation, and deployment of data-driven solutions.
• *Qualification Required:** - 6+ Years of Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and validation. - 3+ Years of Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and statistical modeling. - 6+ Years of Solid understanding of healthcare data structures (claims, eligibility, provider, clinical data). - Knowledge of US healthcare regulations, standards, and compliance (HIPAA, CMS guidelines). - Experience in data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau preferred). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and translate technical findings into business insights.
