Job Description – HR Manager Company – White Placard Systems Pvt. Ltd. Designation: Human Resources Manager Experience: Minimum 6 Years Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end HR operations for our software company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR processes, maintaining compliance, and supporting organizational growth through effective people management practices. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll management, statutory compliance, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR policy implementation. Experience working with Zoho People and Zoho Payroll will be preferred. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.
- Utilize various hiring platforms, job portals, social media, and references for candidate sourcing.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and hiring requirements.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and hiring reports.
- Ensure smooth candidate experience throughout the hiring process. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit formalities.
- Conduct employee onboarding, documentation verification, induction, and orientation sessions.
- Maintain employee records, HR databases, and confidential documentation.
- Handle attendance management, leave management, and employee data accuracy.
- Prepare HR letters including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, and relieving letters.
- Ensure smooth execution of employee confirmation, probation review, and appraisal processes.
- Coordinate employee engagement and retention initiatives. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Process monthly payroll with accuracy and within timelines.
- Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and final settlements.
- Work on Zoho People and Zoho Payroll for HRMS and payroll processing.
- Handle PF, ESIC, Professional Tax (PT), TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with finance/accounts teams for payroll reconciliation and salary processing.
- Maintain statutory records and support audits when required. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
- Ensure company policies comply with labor laws and organizational standards.
- Address employee grievances and maintain positive employee relations.
- Support performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure workplace discipline, HR compliance, and adherence to company policies. Performance Management & Employee Engagement
- Support goal setting, performance appraisal, and feedback processes.
- Organize employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and HR events.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement improvement initiatives.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and productive work culture. Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR operations and recruitment processes.
- Sound understanding of payroll processing, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
- Expertise in PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, payroll management, and employee documentation.
- Experience working with HRMS tools, preferably Zoho People and Zoho Payroll.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office, spreadsheets, and HR reporting.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in an IT/software company.
- Experience handling end-to-end HR activities independently. Prerequisites
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Zoho People and Zoho Payroll.
- Candidates without experience in Zoho People and Zoho Payroll will not be considered.
- Experience handling end-to-end HR operations independently.
