JOB DESCRIPTION Analyst – Global Portfolio Strategy and Asset Allocation Department: The ideal candidate has a background in investment research, macroeconomic analysis, and asset management, with the ability to work independently in a flat, growth-oriented organisation that values a long-term mindset. Key Responsibilities Asset Allocation & Portfolio Implementation

  • Assist in developing and refining the firm’s asset allocation framework, aligned with its investment philosophy.
  • Implement the firm’s investment advice across client portfolios, ensuring recommendations translate accurately and consistently into executed portfolio actions.
  • Compare individual client portfolios against the relevant model portfolio(s), identify deviations, and recommend appropriate rebalancing or portfolio actions.
  • Build and maintain model portfolio dashboards, tracking allocation drift, performance, and adherence across client accounts.
  • Lead periodic portfolio and performance reporting to clients, ensuring transparency and clarity. Research & Market Analysis
  • Play an important role in identifying and evaluating investable opportunities across global markets.
  • Monitor and analyse macroeconomic trends, market movements, and risk factors influencing portfolios.
  • Support the production of research reports, notes, and market commentary for internal and client use.
  • Produce engaging blogs, newsletters, and podcasts to share market insights and firm research. Collaboration & Client Engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive delivery of investment solutions.
  • Assist in research initiatives, client interactions, and presentations.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of rigour and continuous learning. Qualifications & Experience
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CFA charter holder, or MBA from a reputed university.
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in investment research, asset management, or wealth advisory.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse markets and build/improvise asset allocation models independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling research notes, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Experience evaluating investment opportunities, conducting portfolio reviews, and recommending portfolio actions.
  • Well-versed in macroeconomic trends, market cycles, risk management, and valuation methodologies.
  • Prior experience advising high-net-worth clients or institutional portfolios.
  • Ability to mentor junior analysts and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Skills & Competencies
  • Leadership qualities to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of products across asset classes.
  • Ability to analyse macroeconomic indicators, market data, and industry reports.
  • Proficiency in writing research notes, financial analysis, and industry blogs/newsletters.
  • Experience with portfolio management and research tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and Seeking Alpha.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities in a flat organisational culture.
  • Adaptable, growth-oriented, with a long-term investment outlook. Performance Metrics
