Backend Developer - Node.js

Requirements

• 3–4 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Redis, Prisma ORM, and Firebase (preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or JUnit.
• Understanding of Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and SaaS application development.
• Exposure to TCP microservice communication is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools/IDEs is a plus. Job Description
• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and Nest.js.
• Design, build, and maintain secure and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop and manage backend services using microservices architecture.
• Design and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Implement authentication, authorization, security, and performance best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders.
• Support application deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
