- Payout : $40 - $80/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Military Writing Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves preparing and editing military-related documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to military standards. You will support operational reporting, briefings, and technical documentation for defense and security contexts. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and proofread military documents including after-action reports, operational summaries, and readiness assessments.
- Ensure all written materials comply with military formatting, terminology, and classification guidelines.
- Collaborate with military and civilian stakeholders to gather information and refine content for clarity and precision.
- Maintain confidentiality and security protocols for sensitive military and defense-related materials.
- Adapt technical military terminology for diverse audiences, including non-military personnel. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience preparing military documents such as reports, briefings, or operational orders is required.
- Proficiency in military terminology, acronyms, and classification standards is essential.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail and factual accuracy are mandatory.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines is required.
- Familiarity with defense and security sector operations is preferred.
