Job Opening: DevOps & Cloud Engineer Associate Experience: 3–4 Years Location: Noida Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps & Cloud Engineer to join Empowered Margins. This role is ideal for professionals with 3–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD, and Automation who are passionate about building reliable, secure, and scalable cloud environments. As a DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, improving system reliability, and enabling development teams to deliver high-quality software faster. You will also drive the adoption of AI-powered DevOps practices, leveraging AI tools to optimize infrastructure management, monitoring, security, and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesAI Adoption & DevOps Innovation

  • Champion the adoption of AI-powered DevOps tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor AI, GitHub Actions AI, Azure AI services, and intelligent monitoring platforms.
  • Utilize AI tools to automate infrastructure provisioning, scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Implement AI-assisted monitoring, log analysis, and anomaly detection.
  • Drive AI-based automation for repetitive operational and deployment tasks.
  • Explore AI-based infrastructure optimization and cloud cost optimization techniques.
  • Promote responsible and secure use of AI within DevOps workflows. Cloud Infrastructure Management
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on Microsoft Azure (AWS knowledge is an added advantage).
  • Provision and maintain Virtual Machines, App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Key Vaults, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and Azure Monitor.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Ensure cloud environments are scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-efficient.
  • Perform cloud resource optimization and capacity planning. CI/CD & Release Management
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Support release planning, deployment, rollback strategies, and environment management.
  • Ensure deployment consistency across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Improve deployment speed while maintaining release quality. Infrastructure Automation
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Automate server provisioning, configuration management, backups, and maintenance.
  • Manage containerized workloads using Docker.
  • Support Kubernetes (AKS) deployments where applicable.
  • Improve operational efficiency through automation. Monitoring & Reliability
  • Implement infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
  • Monitor application performance, server health, APIs, databases, and cloud resources.
  • Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
  • Improve system uptime and reliability.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and backup strategies. Security & Compliance
  • Implement DevSecOps practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM), Key Vaults, Secrets, Certificates, and RBAC.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and infrastructure hardening.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and company policies.
  • Monitor cloud security posture and remediate risks. Collaboration & Support
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning.
  • Support production deployments and critical incident resolution.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment guides.
  • Provide technical support for cloud and infrastructure-related issues. Continuous Learning
  • Stay updated with DevOps, Cloud, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in technical workshops, certifications, and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Contribute ideas to improve engineering productivity and operational excellence. QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
  • Strong scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with Git version control.
  • Good understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Virtual Networks.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
  • Good understanding of Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Exposure to AI-powered productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Cursor. Preferred
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400) certification.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, Artifactory, or similar DevSecOps tools.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience supporting SaaS or enterprise cloud applications.
