Position Profile - HR Manager Company: Indian GCC of an US Based Business Consulting and Technology Services Company. Location: Pune, INDIA (Work from Office) Role Summary: - The HR Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening end-to-end Human Resources operations with a structured, strategic, and employee-centric approach. The role will focus on implementing HR policies and procedures, supporting organizational growth, driving employee engagement & performance management processes, and ensuring smooth HR operations. - The incumbent will work closely with business leaders and employees to create a positive work environment, improve organizational effectiveness, and support workforce development initiatives. This role requires a proactive HR professional with strong execution capability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage HR functions in a fast-paced and evolving business environment. Essential Functions & Key responsibilities: HR Operations & Process Management - Plan, develop, and implement HR strategies, policies, and operational procedures aligned with business requirements. - Establish and streamline HR processes suitable for a growing organization with global operations. - Ensure HR operational policies and procedures are consistently adhered to and continuously improved. - Maintain employee records, documentation, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Employee Engagement & Relations - Act as a key HR point of contact and trusted advisor for employees and business leaders. - Conduct engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and employee welfare programs. - Enhance employee satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and implementing engagement initiatives. - Handle employee relations matters professionally while promoting a positive and collaborative work culture. Management & Capability Development - Coordinate and manage performance review cycles in collaboration with reporting managers. - Support implementation and monitoring of performance management systems and ensure process adherence. - Conduct and coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee capabilities and skillsets. - Support organizational learning initiatives and employee growth programs. Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration - Coordinate payroll processing with the finance team as per defined timelines. - Administer employee benefits programs including leave management, insurance, wellness initiatives, and related HR policies. - Ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exits. - Support HR audits, reporting, and documentation requirements. HR Compliance & Governance - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable labour regulations. - Work closely with the Information Security team to ensure adherence to ISO 27K and related HR compliance requirements. - Maintain process discipline, policy governance, and documentation standards across HR functions. - Handle miscellaneous HR operational responsibilities assigned by management from time to time. Candidate's Profile Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's in Science or Post Graduate with MBA - HR or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management. Experience: - 6+ years of relevant experience in HR Generalist functions including Onboarding, Induction, - Performance Management System, Policies Implementation, Employee Engagement, Team Management and HR Strategy Development. - Experience working with IT companies and handling HR operations in a global environment will be preferred. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities. - Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making capability. - Demonstrated ability to define HR strategies and execute them effectively. - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. - Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across all organizational levels. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications. - Experience using HR software tools such as HRMS, and Payroll systems. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable approach toward organizational and workforce changes. - Strong team management and employee relationship handling capabilities. - Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and process discipline in HR operations.
