Fresher Assistant – Systems, Software & Communication (R&D) RiNVENT Centre of Excellence Pvt. Ltd. (RiCoE) | Hyderabad, Telangana | Full-time | On-site Eligibility: Only candidates who passed out in 2025 and 2026 may apply. About RiCoE RiNVENT Centre of Excellence Pvt. Ltd. is the R&D and adaptation-engineering arm of the RiNVENT group, which has built smart-grid automation products for Indian power utilities since 2015. RiCoE is a startup and MSME-registered. We design, develop, and adapt the software, firmware, and communication technology behind RiNVENT's products: SCADA/DMS and LDMS platforms, RTUs and FRTUs, data concentrator units, fault management systems, transformer monitoring units, and utility gateways (IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, ICCP/TASE.2) running over MPLS-VPN and cellular networks. The Role You'll join our R&D team as a trainee. You'll learn to take a utility automation feature from idea to field deployment: reading the standard, writing and testing the code, validating it in our lab, and supporting it at DISCOM sites. You'll work alongside senior engineers on real product development, not simulated exercises. What You'll Do Research & Development

• Study and implement utility communication protocols (IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850 MMS/GOOSE, Modbus, ICCP/TASE.2)
• Help develop new product features and prototypes for RTUs, DCUs, gateways, and monitoring devices
• Read standards, datasheets, and utility tender specifications, and turn them into technical requirements
• Build test setups, run experiments, and write up results Software
• Develop and test Windows/.NET (C#)/Linux applications, SCADA/LDMS modules, and engineering tools
• Work on embedded Linux and device-side applications
• Write SQL queries and help design database schemas for control-centre software Systems & Communication
• Configure and troubleshoot networks: IP/subnetting, routing, VPNs, MPLS-VPN, 4G/APN, serial links
• Run protocol interoperability tests with third-party SCADA systems and field devices
• Analyse traffic with Wireshark and protocol simulators Documentation & Field Support
• Prepare design documents, test reports, GTPs, and user manuals
• Support lab inspections, factory acceptance tests, and site commissioning in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Who Should Apply
• B.E./B.Tech in EEE, ECE, EIE, or CSE (2025/ 2026 pass-outs only); M.Tech (2026) in Power Systems, Power Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Communication also welcome
• Strong fundamentals in one or more of: power systems, networking and communication, programming
• Hands-on coding in at least one of C#, C/C++; basic SQL
• Curiosity to read standards and specifications and to figure things out independently
• Willingness to travel for lab and site work
• Clear written and spoken English; Telugu is an advantage Good to Have
• Final-year project or internship in SCADA, smart grid, IoT, embedded Linux, or networking
• Exposure to Modbus, IEC 104, IEC 61850
• Experience with Linux, microcontrollers, or single-board computers
