HR People Operations

We are hiring for our client, a diversified Agribusiness group in Calicut. Reporting to: Executive Director Experience: 6–9 years of progressive HR/People experience Location : Calicut, Kerala What you'll own: 🔹 Statutory compliance across Plantations Labour Act, Factories Act, POSH, PF/ESI, and more — across 5 entities with very different labour-law footprints 🔹 The Group's first employee master data system, onboarding program, and grievance mechanism. 🔹 Governance of an existing Contribution Assessment (goals/KRA/KCI) framework across Estate, Farm, Sales & Finance. 🔹 Recruitment, org design, and compensation structuring - all being built for the first time. 🔹 A trust-first transition preserving the paternalistic, relationship-driven culture that's carried this business for generations. What we're looking for: ✅ 6–9 years of progressive HR/People experience, ideally generalist . ✅ Experience building HR functions from a low or zero base. ✅ Working knowledge of Plantation, Factory, and core Indian labour law frameworks. ✅ Comfort working in a tier 2/3 town, family-owned business context. ✅ Someone who leads with patience, relationships, and field presence not just policy.
