Human Resources Director

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Director HR – India to lead the complete HR function for the India organisation and partner closely with business and global leadership. The successful candidate will be expected to operate as both a strategic HR business partner and a hands-on HR leader, adapting priorities based on business requirements, hiring cycles, employee needs and organisational priorities. • HR Team Leadership What We Are Looking For
• 15 years of progressive HR experience, with significant experience in a senior HR leadership / HRBP role.
• Strong experience across end-to-end HR, rather than a specialist background in one HR function.
• Demonstrated experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Employee Relations, HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance and HR Governance.
• Experience leading and developing an HR team.
• Strong business partnering capability with exposure to senior leadership / C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience working with global / US-based stakeholders in a matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of Indian employment practices, labour regulations and statutory requirements.
• Experience supporting technology, SaaS, fintech, product, engineering or other high-growth environments would be relevant.
• Strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to operate in situations where priorities can change quickly.
• A hands-on, entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills. The role therefore requires a well-rounded HR leader who can take ownership, make sound decisions and work closely with business leaders to solve people challenges.
