Job description
The Human Resources (HR) Executive role supports contract workforce administration, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, and employee development within an automotive manufacturing environment. This onsite position works closely with contractors, employees, service providers, and relevant authorities to maintain compliant and efficient HR operations. Responsibilities
- Manage contract workforce deployment, onboarding, attendance tracking, and contractor compliance activities
- Ensure adherence to labour laws, including CLRA, PF, ESI, minimum wage, bonus, and other statutory requirements
- Maintain contractor agreements, licences, labour records, and compliance documentation, and support audit activities
- Coordinate contractor welfare, safety compliance, grievance handling, and liaison with contractors and relevant authorities
- Manage the recruitment and onboarding of contract employees and supervise contractor operations
- Process contractor invoices, verify workforce billing, and maintain related Management Information System (MIS) reports
- Manage payroll activities, including attendance reconciliation, salary processing, statutory deductions, payroll validation, and employee query resolution
- Ensure the timely submission of payroll inputs and compliance with PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other statutory requirements
- Coordinate employee induction, orientation, training programmes, workshops, and skills development initiatives
- Maintain training calendars, training records, competency matrices, effectiveness reports, and training MIS
- Prepare HR, payroll, and training-related reports for management review and support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HR processes, labour regulations, and safety standards Requirements
- Knowledge of contract workforce administration, contractor compliance, payroll processes, and applicable labour regulations
- Ability to maintain accurate contractor, payroll, training, and statutory compliance records
- Strong coordination and communication skills for working with employees, contractors, service providers, and relevant authorities
