The company is expanding its manufacturing footprint in India and is investing in the development of local production capabilities, creating a strategic opportunity for an experienced project management professional to play a pivotal role in its growth journey. Job Description
- Lead the transition of the project from commercial award stage through execution and production readiness.
- Coordinate prototype development activities with international engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Develop and establish a robust local supply chain to support manufacturing operations in India.
- Drive project planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and execution management.
- Conduct cost analysis and monitor project budgets to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Oversee manufacturing progress and manage stakeholder communication with both internal teams and customers.
- Validate critical vehicle systems and components throughout the development and production lifecycle.
- Support the successful establishment and ramp-up of manufacturing operations while ensuring alignment with localization objectives and regulatory requirements The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project management within industrial manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience managing complex industrial projects, preferably involving heavy machinery, specialized equipment, automotive, defense, or capital goods sectors.
- Exposure to international assignments, cross-border stakeholder management, and manufacturing setup projects preferred.
- Experience working in organizations with global operations or multi-country project execution environments. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Technical Skills & Tools
- Strong project management expertise with proven experience in planning, execution, and project controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to SAP, CAD software, and Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, localization initiatives, and supply chain development. Languages
- Fluent English and Hindi are mandatory.
- Spanish language capability would be a strong advantage. Key Competencies
