As a Senior DevOps Engineer at NiCE, you will play a crucial role in designing, operating, and evolving cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving Infrastructure-as-Code quality and consistency across multiple environments (dev, test, staging, production) and services - Owning and improving end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, from source control to automated build, test, security scanning, quality gates, and multi-environment deployment - Leading troubleshooting of complex production issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and enhancing runbooks and automation - Building and enhancing observability through dashboards, metrics, alerting, log aggregation, and SLO/SLI definitions for production services - Championing security and compliance practices, such as least-privilege access, secrets management, encryption, vulnerability remediation, and multi-tenant isolation - Managing release processes, environment promotion, and cross-service dependency tracking - Driving cost optimization and FinOps practices across cloud workloads - Mentoring engineers on cloud and DevOps practices, influencing architecture, and promoting best practices across teams - Continuously evaluating and adopting new tools, technologies, and AI-driven automation to improve developer experience, reliability, and deployment velocity Qualifications required for this role include: - BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience - 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role - Strong expertise with AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, data services, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, and Secrets Manager - Proficiency in Python programming and scripting for automation and Infrastructure-as-Code - Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform - Strong background in designing and operating CI/CD platforms, containers, cloud-native architectures, and monitoring solutions - Solid understanding of security, encryption, compliance, and code quality practices in CI pipelines - Familiarity with Linux, security tools, and supporting managed services and microservice-based applications in production Having the following additional qualifications would be advantageous: - Experience with cloud-based data and analytics workloads, .NET / C#, Kubernetes, Helm, or Ansible - AWS or Kubernetes certifications, exposure to multi-tenant SaaS platforms, or contact-center products - Strong ownership mindset, collaborative skills, excellent communication, and the ability to influence best practices across teams - Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment with a global mindset and fluency in English NiCE offers you the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment where you can learn, grow, and explore endless internal career opportunities.
