Senior Python Developer (Lead level) | 9 to 13 YoE | US-based large retail organisation | Bengaluru | Immediate joiners

What you need:

• 9–12+ years of experience in Python backend development, with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable applications.
• Strong experience with Kafka, Microservices, REST APIs, FastAPI, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs/GenAI into production applications, including agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.
• Strong understanding of system design, automated testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and data pipelines/ETL frameworks such as Airflow; cloud experience is a plus. What you would do:
• Design and build secure, scalable backend systems and APIs using Python, with a focus on performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Integrate LLMs and GenAI capabilities into core applications, building reliable workflows that address hallucinations and improve AI outcomes.
• Build and optimise event-driven and distributed systems using Kafka, microservices, databases, and data pipelines.
• Drive engineering excellence through testing, code reviews, observability, CI/CD, and deployment best practices.
• Lead technical design and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product, Data, Business, and DevOps teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
