Team Lead – Node.js ( 7-10 Years )

Position Team Lead – Node.js Experience 7–10 years overall experience, with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Node.js Team Lead who can lead a team of developers while remaining hands-on with application development, architecture, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, backend development, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Node.js developers.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
• Define technical architecture, development standards, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Break down requirements into technical tasks and provide effort estimates.
• Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Participate in system design, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Mentor team members and support their technical growth.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate solutions.
• Promote automated testing, CI/CD, Agile practices, and continuous improvement. Required Technical Skills
• 7–10 years of overall software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Excellent experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
• Good understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-based application development.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth2.
• Good knowledge of application security, scalability, performance optimization, and monitoring.
• Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or similar. Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions and take ownership.
• Ability to mentor developers and conduct technical interviews.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building and managing microservices-based applications.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern Node.js architecture.
• Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to system design and high-traffic/high-availability applications. Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
