About the Role Position: UX Designer / Business Analyst DocOnline is looking for an experienced UX Designer/Business Analyst with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows to lead user research, requirement gathering, business requirement documentation (BRDs), user journey design, and experience optimization across our digital healthcare products. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, operations, product, and technology teams to translate complex healthcare processes into intuitive, user-centric experiences. The role requires expertise in user research, information architecture, workflow design, usability testing, and product thinking, with a deep understanding of patient and provider journeys. Responsibilities
- User Research & Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Technology to understand business objectives and user needs.
- Conduct user interviews, contextual inquiry, workflow analysis, and usability studies across healthcare journeys.
- Identify user pain points, process gaps, and opportunities for experience improvement.
- Translate business requirements into user personas, journey maps, user stories, and use cases.
- Facilitate workshops to gather and validate functional and user experience requirements.
- Business Requirement Documentation (BRD)
- Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) covering:
- Business objectives
- Functional requirements
- User workflows
- Process maps
- System interactions
- Data requirements
- Business rules and acceptance criteria
- Ensure alignment between business, operations, and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- UX Strategy & Experience Design
- Design intuitive end-to-end user journeys across healthcare applications.
- Create:
- User flows
- Task flows
- Information architecture
- Wireframes
- Interactive prototypes
- Simplify complex healthcare workflows while maintaining regulatory and operational requirements.
- Ensure solutions are accessible, intuitive, and aligned with usability best practices (WCAG).
- Define interaction patterns and user experience guidelines for consistency across products.
- Product Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and Operations teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement clarification, and feature reviews.
- Provide functional walkthroughs and prototype demonstrations.
- Assist in validating implemented features against business and UX requirements.
- Usability Testing & Continuous Improvement
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions with end users.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative user feedback.
- Identify usability issues and recommend design improvements.
- Measure user experience through defined success metrics.
- Continuously refine user journeys based on insights and business outcomes. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Business Analysis, or User Experience Research.
- Prior experience in healthcare, health-tech, insurance, telemedicine, diagnostics, or digital health is highly preferred.
- Experience designing enterprise or workflow-driven applications is desirable. Required Skills

- Strong expertise in Figma or similar UX design and prototyping tools.

- Interactive Prototypes
- Strong knowledge of Information Architecture and Interaction Design.
- Experience preparing BRDs, functional documentation, and process workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Basic understanding of responsive design and front-end capabilities to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
