UX/UI Analyst Department: UI/UX Design Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala Job Type: Contract Experience:6-9 years Work Mode: Work from Office Joining Period: Immediate About the Role The UX/UI Analyst is responsible for user research, interaction design, and usability analysis across the platform, covering applicant portals, officer consoles, administrative tools, dashboards, and key business workflows. The role studies user needs and business processes and translates them into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and interface specifications that clearly communicate how the system should work. Working closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders, the UX/UI Analyst validates designs through user feedback, usability reviews, and prototype demonstrations, ensuring that proposed solutions are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business requirements. The role provides the delivery pods with validated, build-ready UX specifications and supports developers during implementation by clarifying user flows and interaction requirements. Ultimately, the UX/UI Analyst acts as the user advocate within the software development lifecycle, ensuring that the platform delivers consistent, efficient, and user-friendly digital experiences. Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research — interviews, contextual analysis, and heuristic reviews — across applicant, officer, and administrator personas.
  • Produce journey maps, task flows, and information architecture for assigned platform areas.
  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes (Figma or equivalent) to design-system standards.
  • Plan and run usability testing sessions; synthesize findings into prioritized design changes.
  • Specify interaction behaviour — states, validation, error handling — to engineering-ready detail.
  • Apply accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher) throughout design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to align designs with functional requirements.
  • Support design QA on built interfaces against approved designs. Requirements
  • Experience: 6-9 years in UX research/interaction design on complex, multi-persona applications.
  • Research: Planned and executed formal user research and usability testing with documented outcomes.
  • Design: High-quality wireframing and prototyping in Figma (or equivalent) within a design system.
  • Specification: Interaction specifications engineers can implement directly (states, errors, edge cases).
  • Accessibility: Working WCAG application in design deliverables.
  • Collaboration: Daily collaboration with BAs and Full Stack Developers. Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent portfolio).
  • Portfolio review required. Nice to Have
  • Government digital-service or public-portal research experience.
  • Multi-lingual / RTL interface design exposure.
  • Console/dashboard design for operational users.
